Of course, they can also just surrender and continue to sell chips to Apple and deploy apps (FloTv) to Apple which should be compatible with the iPad like all the other apps in the App Store. Make no mistake, I think admiring superior ergonomic design, and a bigger software base, is important. I think, for example, that realizing where iPhone is vs. Droid, Pre, Nexus One, etc. is important. But a good reviewer should say, "Google did this wrong, Apple did this wrong, etc." Many followers of Apple find it impossible to admit when the great company does wrong - and that's how you recognize a cultist. No company, no individual, no social or political movement should be placed on a pedestal and worshiped without warts. A useful fan acknowledges the hero, warts and all. Obviously a huge advantage.
